Find your way around your workspace

Start with your brand and the decision you want to make: each area answers a different question. This chapter shows how to choose the context, ask for help and protect your account and personal data.

Section 1

Choose the context first

Your workspace contains the brands you can access. The selected brand determines the results and operations available, so choosing it first keeps you from reading another brand’s data.

  1. Select the workspace and brand you want to work on.
  2. Check the period, country, language and coverage shown in the analysis context.
  3. If observations are missing, use an authorised account to start a check: an empty screen does not describe your brand’s reputation.

Open the area for your question

The overview helps you choose where to look next. Google and Bing, AI visibility and Direct answers show different observations; Reputation and Press and social help you trace opinions and sources.

Use Actions to decide on an intervention and Reports to share a reading of the results. Your account permissions determine which operations you can perform.

Section 3

Ask for help in your brand’s context

Open Ask TrustInsider and ask about using the workspace, your brand’s results, or your account’s credits, actions and alerts. Your permissions determine what can be read.

  1. Check the selected brand and name the period or result you want to understand.
  2. Read the nature of the answer and open the available sources and evidence. Check scope, period and coverage before deciding: a missing observation is not zero.
  3. Follow the answer’s links to explore the relevant area. An explanation does not authorise collections or publications: check the quote and confirm any paid operation separately.

Prepare a support request when you need a person

If the assistant does not respond or you want help from a person, open the proposed support request: you see a preview before sending.

  1. Read and, if needed, edit the summary; check the question, context and workspace shown. Do not enter passwords or credentials.
  2. Tick the explicit consent box to send the summary and context with your account’s name and email, then send. The rest of the conversation, analysis data and payment data are not transmitted with this request.
  3. Keep the request number and status. Find it in your support requests in Settings; a person replies here and by email. Use the dedicated form for personal data rights.

Protect access to your account

The account security page shows your sign-in email and two-step verification status. Account communications go to that email address. Two-step verification adds a code from an authenticator app to sign-in.

Do not send the QR code, setup key, sign-in codes or recovery codes in chat or to support. An error or a closed page does not confirm that a setting was saved.

  1. To change your sign-in email, use the support contact shown on the page: the details table is not an editing form.
  2. To enable two-step verification, start setup, scan the code with an authenticator app and confirm using the app’s code. Keep the recovery codes shown at the end in a safe place.
  3. The revocation control signs out every session, including the current one: sign in again after using it. To disable two-step verification, confirm with the requested code.

Manage consent and requests about your data

The account consent and rights page brings together your consent record, optional marketing preference and personal-data requests. You see in one place what you have accepted and which requests are in progress.

Before requesting deletion, handle any active subscription separately through the indicated billing flow. Mandatory retention follows the privacy notice: do not assume that every record is deleted immediately.

  1. Read the version, date and status of recorded consent. To give or withdraw marketing consent, change its checkbox and wait for the confirmation that the preference was saved.
  2. Use the data download control to export your account data. Keep the file safely: it may contain personal information.
  3. To request deletion, read the consequences and confirm with the second control. A received request is not completed deletion: check its status in the requests table.
  4. For rectification, restriction or objection, use the rights page or privacy contact shown. Open Terms, Privacy and Cookies from the documents section.
