Northstar Audio · fictional brand created for this demonstration
These charts use the same components as the private dashboard. The values are fictional: they show how to read the product, not results achieved by a customer.
Two separate groups: 10 completed searches on Google and 10 on Bing, in the same market and from the same type of device. The bar shows the share of searches in which the brand appears in the results, not clicks or traffic.
Observed measure
Example of the chart available for a connected Search Console property. Missing days and values interrupt the line. A zero value is a measurement, distinct from missing data.

The search sample and Search Console answer different questions: where the brand appears in selected searches, and how many clicks Google records for the connected property.
In the private area, open the sample and the original answers. You can ask the assistant to explain the selected measures; action proposals start from reviewed mentions.
What you get
Choose a search, market, language and device from available options. Examine collected results, URLs and positions: a brand-name search may show different pages from a buying question.

What you get
If the page found does not answer the question, prepare a content review and check the search again. Positions describe the observation; visits and conversions require website data, read separately.
| Signal | What it observes | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Presence in results | Whether your brand appears in the pages collected for selected queries. | Describes the search sample. Engine, language, location and device define the comparison. |
| Observed position | Where the result appears in observations in which it is present. | Read it alongside frequency of presence and result type. Absence is not a position at the bottom of a ranking. |
| Impressions and clicks | Exposures and clicks recorded by tools for the owner’s authorised properties. | These measure a different perspective from sampled queries. Clicks are not conversions and do not, on their own, demonstrate an improvement in reputation. |
Searches for your site
With Search Console connected, discover which queries bring your site into search results and open the trend for an individual search. Clicks, impressions and CTR help you choose what to explore, using the property you authorised.
Choose the property, country and period: the table shows up to 200 queries returned by the source, while the detail follows the exact query over your selected period, from 1 to 90 days. CTR relates observed clicks to impressions. These data describe your site on Google, not total demand across the market or AI platforms. An unconnected property or unavailable data does not become a zero.
| View | What you read | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Query list | Clicks, impressions and CTR | Selected property and country |
| Query trend | The same search over time | A period of 1 to 90 days |
| Google and Bing organic results | Observed URLs and positions | Collection separate from Search Console data |
Google and Bing
Observe your brand’s presence on each engine, distinguishing searches and markets. A page visible on Google does not automatically describe what a customer encounters on Bing.
Organic collection records the observed position, domain, URL and search conditions. Brand, category and comparison queries remain distinct. Local results, ads and AI answers require specific source capabilities: they are not treated as organic results merely because they appear within the same search experience.

Read the sources that help customers choose between your brand and competitors.
Your website data
When Google connections are active, view your property’s data alongside search results: clicks and impressions from Search Console, sessions and users from Analytics. This lets you distinguish a page appearing in results from a page receiving visits.
Authorize the account, select the property and choose the report period. Daily tables retain the source and retrieval date. The comparison helps choose which page to investigate; attributing conversions to AI requires additional measurement and is not derived from these data.
Editorial priorities
Content may appear in results yet be poorly matched to the question. Comparing the query, results and landing page helps determine what deserves closer attention.
A plan may propose a fuller explanation, an updated product page or clearer navigation. Each proposal should identify the question it addresses and the outcome to check. SEO and GEO share a focus on information quality and accessibility, but are measured using distinct sources and criteria.
