Choose what to observe and review the quote before a collection starts. You need a workspace, a selected brand and permission to manage it. With no brand and no valid plan, start from Plan and credits.
Step 1
Check the proposed name before continuing. The whole check is built on this identity: the right name means you observe answers that are really about your brand, not about a namesake.
If the name does not match the brand you want to observe, indicate that it is incorrect and correct the context. Confirming the wrong name would check the wrong organisation.

Step 2
A search check requires the website address; in other cases this field may be optional. The address shows which site belongs to the brand, so search is observed on the right domain.
Use an HTTPS address without credentials, query parameters or fragments. The form flags invalid addresses: correct them before requesting a quote.

Step 3
The menu lists combinations available for the brand. Source, country and language decide which audience you observe: a different combination describes another market, so choose the one that matches your question.
Read the source name, country and language together. If your desired combination is missing, do not assume another one measures the same audience; refresh the options or ask for help.

Step 4
The comparison uses brands already in the workspace; adding one is optional. Competitors give the observed answers a point of comparison for reading your brand.
Check that the listed names are relevant. If an add command is available, use it before continuing; having no competitors does not by itself prevent checking your own brand.

Step 5
Enter the question whose answer you want to observe. It is the case the collection puts to the test: the more specific it is, the more precisely the observed answers speak about your brand.
Choose a question addressing a recognisable need of your audience. Do not expect invented suggestions when no real source proposes questions: you can enter the case to check yourself.

Step 6
Check the source, scope and cost limit before authorising execution. The quote states what will be collected and the maximum cost you authorise.
The first confirmation prepares the quote. Also read the subsequent summary and execution confirmation: entering a question does not start collection by itself. If you change your choices, review the updated quote.

Check after starting
At the end of the workflow, open the available preview and read the collection status. You then know what has already been observed and what remains to wait for before using the data.
A start receipt does not mean a complete response has already been verified. Review results, coverage and limitations before using the data; you can open Overview when that command is available.

Workflow problems
A missing source, a budget limit and an uncertain outcome need different checks. Recognising which case you face avoids repeating a request that has already started or waiting for a collection that never began.
Refresh missing options; if the budget prevents a start, review the request without assuming it has run. If the outcome is uncertain, check the summary and collection status before starting another request. Read-only access does not authorise execution.
